Carefully remove all components from the packaging. The Dyson V6 Absolute comes with the main body, extension wand, cleaner heads (Soft roller and Direct-drive), and various accessories.

3.2 Using Different Cleaner Heads

- Soft Roller Cleaner Head: Ideal for hard floors, this head uses soft nylon and anti-static carbon fiber filaments to capture both large debris and fine dust without scratching delicate surfaces.
- Direct-drive Cleaner Head: Designed for carpets, this head features stiff nylon bristles that penetrate deep into carpet pile to remove ground-in dirt and pet hair.

To change cleaner heads, press the red release button on the extension wand and pull the current head off. Align the new cleaner head with the wand and push until it clicks into place.

3.4 Cleaning High Areas
With the extension wand and appropriate tool, the lightweight design allows for easy cleaning of high-up areas like ceilings and cobwebs.

Empty the clear bin as soon as the dirt reaches the MAX level. To empty, hold the vacuum over a trash can and push the red 'MAX' button on the side of the bin. The bin base will open, releasing the dirt. Close the bin base firmly until it clicks.

The Dyson V6 Absolute features a washable HEPA filter. For optimal performance, wash the filter at least once a month. To remove the filter, twist the purple filter cap counter-clockwise and pull it out from the top of the main body. Rinse the filter under cold running water until the water runs clear. Squeeze and tap the filter to remove excess water. Allow the filter to air dry completely for at least 24 hours before reinserting it into the vacuum.
