2. Nhazi
Before operating your Hessaire MC61M Evaporative Cooler, ensure proper setup:
- Iwepu: Carefully remove the cooler and all components from the packaging. Verify all parts are present, including the main unit, 4 casters (2 locking, 2 non-locking), and 1 brass garden hose adapter.
- Nwụnye caster: Attach the four casters to the bottom of the unit. Two casters are locking and two are non-locking. Ensure they are securely fastened.
- Ndokwa: Place the cooler on a flat, stable surface. For optimal performance, especially in dry climates, ensure adequate ventilation by keeping windows or doors open.
- Njuputa mmiri: The unit can be filled in two ways:
- Njupụta aka: Open the water inlet cover on the top of the unit and pour water directly into the reservoir. The water level indicator on the front of the unit will show the current water level.
- Continuous Fill (Hose Connection): For extended operation, connect a standard garden hose to the brass adapter located on the side of the unit. The cooler features an internal float system that will automatically stop water flow once the reservoir is full, preventing overfilling.

3. Ntuziaka ọrụ
The Hessaire MC61M features simple mechanical controls for ease of use:
- Gbanyụọ/ Gbanyụọ: Plug the unit into a standard 115-volt electrical outlet.
- Njikwa mgbapụta: Turn the 'Pump' dial to 'ON' to activate the water pump. This saturates the internal XeL50 cooling media, enabling evaporative cooling. Turn to 'OFF' to stop the pump.
- Ọsọ onye ofufe: Adjust the 'Fan' dial to select your desired airflow speed: 'L' (Low), 'M' (Medium), or 'H' (High).
- Air Swing Delivery System: Turn the 'Swing' dial to 'ON' to activate automatic oscillation of the internal louvers, distributing cool air across a wider area. Turn to 'OFF' for stationary airflow.

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity of your evaporative cooler:
- Ogo mmiri: Use clean water to prevent mineral buildup on the cooling media. In areas with hard water, consider using a water conditioner as recommended by the manufacturer.
- Draining the Reservoir: Periodically drain the water reservoir to prevent stagnant water and algae growth. The drain plug is located at the bottom rear of the unit.
- Cleaning Media Panels: The XeL50 media panels (visible from the back of the unit) should be inspected and cleaned regularly, especially if you notice reduced cooling efficiency or odors. Refer to the full user manual for detailed cleaning instructions.
- Nchekwa: Before long-term storage, ensure the unit is completely drained and dry. Store in a cool, dry place.
