- Your computer should automatically detect and install the necessary drivers. This process may take a few moments.

Hyper-fast Scroll Wheel
The scroll wheel offers two modes for navigation:
- Free-spinning mode: Ideal for quickly scrolling through long documents, web pages, and news feeds. To activate, press the scroll wheel button.
- Click-to-click mode: Provides precise, stepped scrolling for navigating spreadsheets, photo albums, or playlists. To activate, press the scroll wheel button again.
The scroll wheel can also be tilted left or right for horizontal scrolling or other customizable functions.
Windows Shortcut Button
Located directly behind the scroll wheel, this button provides one-touch access to key Windows 8 features:
- Pressing this button allows quick access to the App Switcher and Charms Bar in Windows 8.
- This button can also be customized using Logitech SetPoint software for other functions.
