The Tare function allows you to weigh items in a container by subtracting the container's weight.

4. Unit Conversion (MODE)
The scale can measure in different units, typically grams (g) and ounces (oz).

- The display will indicate the currently selected unit.
5. Talking Feature and Volume Control
The SCMVOXEVOL scale features a talking function that announces measurements. This feature can be enabled or disabled, and the volume adjusted.
- On the underside of the scale, locate two slide switches.
- The switch closer to the front of the scale controls the Olu. Slide it to adjust between available volume levels (e.g., loud, very loud).
- The second switch controls the Gbanyụọ/ Gbanyụọ olu function. Slide it to enable or disable the talking feature.
- When both switches are slid to the outside edge, the voice will be on and set to the highest volume.

The scale is factory-calibrated. However, if you suspect inaccuracies or are operating at a significantly different altitude, calibration may be necessary.
