Before first use, and after each use, thoroughly clean all parts of the food jar. Disassemble the lid components, including the main lid, the inner stopper, and the folding spoon. Wash all parts with warm water and mild dish soap. Rinse thoroughly. Allow all parts to air dry completely before reassembling or storing.

Pre-conditioning for Optimal Performance

To maximize thermal efficiency, pre-condition your food jar:

  • For Cold Contents: Fill the food jar with cold tap water. Attach the lid and let it stand for 5 to 10 minutes. Empty the water before filling with cold food.

Place the inner stopper onto the food jar and twist clockwise until it is firmly sealed. Then, place the outer lid (which doubles as a serving bowl) over the inner stopper and twist clockwise until it is tight. Ensure both lids are securely fastened to prevent leaks and maintain temperature.

Using the Folding Spoon

The food jar includes a full-sized stainless steel spoon that folds for compact storage. To access, unscrew the outer lid and locate the spoon stored within the inner stopper. Unfold the spoon for use. After use, clean the spoon, fold it, and return it to its storage slot.

  • Food not staying hot/cold: Ensure the food jar was properly pre-conditioned (pre-heated or pre-chilled) before adding food. Verify that both the inner stopper and outer lid are securely tightened to create an airtight seal.
  • Lid is difficult to open: If hot food was placed in the jar, a vacuum may form as it cools, making the lid difficult to open. Avoid over-tightening the lid when the contents are hot. If stuck, try running warm water over the lid for a few seconds to help release the seal.
  • Nhapu: Check that all seals (including the silicone gasket on the inner stopper) are properly seated and free from food debris. Ensure both the inner stopper and outer lid are fully tightened.
