- Utility knife or tube cutter
- Bucket and towel

- If your sink has a pre-drilled hole (e.g., for a soap dispenser), remove any existing fixture. If not, drill a 1/2-inch hole in a suitable location on your sink or countertop.
- Assemble the dedicated faucet by screwing the spout onto the faucet body.
- Place the rubber gasket onto the threaded faucet stem.
- Insert the faucet stem through the hole in the sink/countertop.
- From underneath the sink, slide the metal washer and then the plastic stem nut onto the faucet stem. Hand-tighten the nut to secure the faucet.

- Turn off the cold water supply to your main kitchen faucet.
- Disconnect the cold water line from the 1/2-inch threaded stub on the bottom of the cold water faucet inlet.
- Apply Teflon tape to the male threads of the faucet stop and the supply adapter.

- Reconnect the cold water line to the male supply adapter threads. Hand-tighten and then snug with a wrench.
2.4 Filter Head Mounting
- Choose a location under the sink to mount the filter head. Ensure there is at least 1.5 inches of clearance below the filter cartridge for future changes. The filter head should be mounted vertically on a firm surface.
- Use the mounting bracket as a template to mark screw locations.
- Drill pilot holes using a drill bit slightly smaller than the supplied screws.
- Mount the filter head using the supplied screws.
2.5 Njikọ tubing
- Measure and cut the plastic tubing to connect the water supply adapter to the filter inlet. Ensure enough length to prevent kinking. Cut the tubing squarely.
- Insert one end of the tubing into the supply adapter until it is fully seated.
- Insert the other end of the tubing into the filter inlet until it is fully seated.
- Measure and cut the plastic tubing to connect the filter outlet to the dedicated faucet.
- Slide the compression nut and ferrule over one end of this tubing, then insert the plastic insert into the end of the tubing.
- Push this end of the tubing firmly into the dedicated faucet stem. Hand-tighten the compression nut onto the threads until secure, then tighten approximately half a turn with a wrench.

After installation, follow these steps to begin using your filtration system:
- Insert Filter Cartridge: Align the arrow on the filter cartridge with the unlocked padlock symbol on the filter head. Push the cartridge up into the head and then twist the cartridge until the arrow aligns with the locked padlock symbol.
- Activate Water Supply: Slowly turn on the cold water supply valve. Check for any leaks around connections.
- Sistemụ mkpofu: Rotate the handle of the dedicated filter faucet counter-clockwise to the ON position. Allow water to run for 10 minutes to flush air and carbon fines from the system. The water may appear cloudy initially, which is normal.

4.2 LED Filter Life Indicator
The dedicated faucet includes an LED indicator to remind you when to change the filter cartridge:
