- Connecting Classic to Converter:
Take one end of the C8222 converter track that has the round, loop-style connector. Align this end with a Classic track piece. Ensure the metal rails align correctly and gently push the pieces together until they form a secure connection.
- Connecting Converter to Sport:
Take the other end of the C8222 converter track, which features the push-fit connector. Align this end with a Scalextric Sport track piece. Push the pieces firmly together until they click into place. The push-fit design ensures a solid connection for racing.

- Circuit Building:
You can use the two converter pieces included to create a continuous circuit that incorporates both Classic and Sport track sections. For example, you can start with Classic track, use a converter, add Sport track, and then use another converter to return to Classic track, or simply extend your Sport track layout from an existing Classic setup.
Operating Your Scalextric Layout
Once your track layout is assembled with the C8222 converter pieces, you can operate your Scalextric slot cars as usual. These converter tracks maintain electrical continuity between the different track systems, allowing for smooth racing.
- Ensure all track connections are firm to prevent power interruptions during racing.
- The C8222 converter tracks are compatible with Sport Analog, ARC, and Digital Scalextric Track systems.
