The scanner supports three distinct scanning modes to suit different operational needs:

  • Ụdị Mkpalite Aka: Press the scanning button to activate the laser and scan a barcode.
  • Automatic Detection Mode (Auto-sensing): The scanner automatically detects a barcode in its field of view and scans it without requiring a button press.
  • Ụdị nyocha na-aga n'ihu: The scanner continuously emits the laser, scanning any barcode that passes through its beam.

5.2 Upload Modes

Data can be uploaded to your connected device in two ways:

  • Prefix and Suffix: Supports adding control characters like STX/EOT/Ctrl-]/Ctrl-\ as prefixes and suffixes to scanned data.
  • Hide Characters: Option to hide front and back characters (8 bits or more) from scanned data.
  • Igodo ahụigodo: Add keyboard keys (CR, LF, TAB, CR&LF, etc.) to the scanning operation.
  • Barcode Type Enable/Disable: Configure which barcode types the scanner should recognize.
  • Letter Case Change: Change scanned letters to capital or lower case.
  • iOS Virtual Keyboard: In Bluetooth HID Mode, quickly double-click the scanning button to pull up or hide the iOS virtual keyboard. (Note: This feature is not available for Android systems).

Data not appearing on screen:
Confirm the scanner is in Instant Upload Mode. Check the connection status to your host device. Ensure the cursor is active in the desired input field on your device.
