4. Nhazi

Follow these steps for the initial setup of your HiBREW H14 coffee machine:

  1. Jupụta tank mmiri: Remove the water tank (5) and fill it with fresh, cold water up to the MAX line. Ensure the tank is securely placed back into the machine.

  2. Add Coffee Beans to the Bean Hopper: Open the bean hopper lid (4) and add the desired amount of fresh coffee beans to the bean hopper (3). Replace the lid.

  3. Adjust Grinding Degree: Rotate the bean hopper to select your desired grinding thickness. The machine features a 15-level precision grinder, allowing for optional grinding thickness.

  4. Kọfị Kọfị: Place the portafilter (10) under the grinder outlet. Press the grinding mode button to start grinding. The machine supports timing grinding. After grinding, use the air blower (7) to blow out any residual coffee powder from the grinder to prevent blockages and maintain freshness.

  5. Attach the Portafilter: Insert the appropriate filter (1-cup or 2-cup) into the portafilter (10) and fill it with ground coffee. Tamp the coffee evenly. Attach the portafilter to the brewing head by aligning it and twisting it firmly to the right until it locks into place.

5.1 Ime Espresso

  1. Ensure the machine is powered on and preheated. The NTC thermostatic system ensures precise temperature control for consistent taste.
  2. Place your cup(s) on the drip tray (2) beneath the portafilter.
  3. Select your desired brewing mode: single cup or double cup. The machine features dedicated buttons for each.

  4. The machine will begin the pre-brew process, evenly wetting the coffee powder for fuller extraction, followed by 20 Bar high-pressure extraction to deliver rich espresso.

  5. Once brewing is complete, remove your cup and enjoy your fresh espresso.

5.2 Mmiri ara ehi na-agbaze

  3. Activate the milk foam mode. The powerful high-pressure steam pipe will warm and froth the milk, creating dense milk foam.

  4. Once the milk reaches the desired temperature and consistency, turn off the steam.
  5. Pour the frothed milk into your espresso to create cappuccinos or lattes.

Regular cleaning and maintenance will ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your HiBREW H14 coffee machine.

  1. Clean the Portafilter and Filters: After each use, remove the portafilter and discard the used coffee grounds. Rinse the portafilter and filter baskets under running water. For thorough cleaning, detach the portafilter bracket and wash it.

  3. Hichaa tank mmiri: Periodically clean the water tank (5) with mild soap and water. Rinse thoroughly before refilling.
  4. Hichaa igwe ihe igwe: Use the air blower (7) to clear residual coffee powder from the grinder after each use. The cutter is detached for easier cleaning.
  5. Clean the Steam Wand: After frothing milk, immediately wipe the steam wand with a damp cloth to remove any milk residue. Purge a small amount of steam to clear any internal blockages.

If you encounter any issues with your HiBREW H14, refer to the following common problems and solutions:

  • No coffee brewing:

  • Weak or watery espresso:
