Setting Method for Other Brands or if Direct Use Fails:
For other TV brands, or if the remote does not function correctly with the pre-installed settings, follow these steps:
- Identify your TV brand from the list printed on the back of the remote control (refer to Figure 2).
- Press and hold the corresponding brand button on the remote control for approximately 6 seconds.
- The LED indicator on the remote will flash 3 times, indicating that the setting is complete.
- Test the remote control with your TV. If it does not work, repeat the process or try another code if available for your brand (consult the brand setup table on the back of the remote).
Note: The brand setup table on the back of the remote (Figure 2) provides specific instructions for programming. Ensure you refer to it for accurate brand-specific codes or methods.
6. Ntuziaka ọrụ
Once your URC-1699 remote control is successfully programmed, you can use it to control your television.
6.1 Basic TV Control:

6.2 Using Shortcut Buttons:

Pressing these buttons will directly launch the corresponding application on your smart TV, provided the app is installed and your TV supports this functionality.
