2. Getting Started & Setup

The LAUNCH CR319 is a plug-and-play device that requires no batteries or external applications. Simply connect it to your vehicle's OBD2 port.

Once connected and powered on, the CR319 will display the main menu. Use the UP/DOWN buttons to navigate and the OK button to select.

  • Gụọ Koodu: Retrieves Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) from the vehicle's computer to identify the error location.

4.1 Supported Vehicle Types

  • American Cars: Standard OBD2 Protocols from 2000 to present (e.g., Chrysler, Ford, GM, Jeep).
  • European Cars: Standard OBD2 Protocols from 2003 to present (e.g., Alfa Romeo, SAAB, Acura, Opel, Audi, Seat, Peugeot, Renault, Bentley, Skoda, Daewoo, Benz, Daihatsu, Land Rover, BMW, Vauxhall, Citroen, Volvo, Fiat, VW, Ford, Jaguar).
  • Japanese/Korean Cars: Standard OBD2 Protocols from 2006 to present (e.g., KIA, Isuzu, Honda, Mitsubishi, Hyundai, Dacia, Lexus, Mazda, Nissan, Subaru, Suzuki, Toyota).
  • Chinese Cars: Standard OBD2 Protocols from 2009 to present.

Mara: While compatible with most cars, regional differences in OBD2 protocol implementation or specific vehicle designs may lead to incompatibility with some models. The scanner supports 12V gasoline cars only; it does not support Diesel, 24V Heavy Duty, Hybrid, or Electric vehicles.
