This manual provides instructions for the setup, operation, and maintenance of your MI Bluetooth Voice Remote Control, model XMRM-002. This remote is designed for use with MI Box 3 and MI Box MDZ-16-AB 4K Ultra HDR TV Boxes, offering convenient control and Google Assistant voice functionality via Bluetooth wireless communication.

Mara: This remote control is not compatible with MI Box 4S and does not include streaming media box or batteries.

3.2 Pairing with MI Box

To use the remote control, it must be paired with your compatible MI Box device (MI Box 3, MI Box MDZ-16-AB).

  1. Ensure your MI Box is powered on and connected to your TV.
  2. Navigate to the Bluetooth settings on your MI Box (usually found under Settings > Remote & Accessories > Add accessory).
  3. On the remote control, press and hold the "Home" button (circle icon) and the "Back" button (arrow icon) simultaneously for a few seconds until the indicator light on the remote starts blinking.
  4. Your MI Box should detect the remote control. Select it from the list of available devices to complete the pairing process.
  5. Once paired, the indicator light on the remote will stop blinking, and a confirmation message may appear on your TV screen.

4.2 Iji Google Assistant

To use the Google Assistant feature:

  1. Press and hold the Voice Assistant button (microphone icon) on the remote.
  2. Speak your command clearly into the microphone located at the top of the remote.
  3. Release the button when you are finished speaking.

Examples of commands include: "Open Netflix", "Chọọ maka action movies", "What's the weather like?", "Play music by [artist]".
