This manual provides instructions for the installation, operation, and maintenance of your Waterdrop UL12B Under-Sink Water Filtration System. This system is designed to provide filtered water directly from your faucet, reducing various contaminants and improving water quality.
The Waterdrop UL12B system features advanced filtration technology certified by IAPMO against NSF/ANSI Standard 42 for the reduction of chlorine, taste, and odor, and NSF/ANSI 372 for lead-free materials. It is also effective in reducing PFAS, PFOA/PFOS, rust, heavy metals, chemical impurities, and sand.

- This system is designed for use with cold water lines only. Do not connect to hot water.

- Wụnye faucet: If using the included faucet, install it into an existing hole on your sink or countertop. The faucet features a 360-degree swivel and a chrome finish. Secure it from the top and twist to lock.
- Connect to the Filter: Connect the inlet tubing to the filter unit. The system uses push-to-connect fittings for ease of installation.

- Secure the Filter Unit: The filter unit can be secured under the sink using its drill-free wall mount with a rotary lock. A suction cup base provides additional stability.

After installation, slowly turn on the cold water supply. Open the dedicated filtered water faucet and let the water run for at least 5-10 minutes. This flushes out any carbon fines and air from the system, ensuring optimal performance and taste.

Once flushed, your system is ready for use. Simply open the dedicated filtered water faucet to dispense purified water. The system maintains a strong flow rate for quick filling.

6.1 Filter Life Indicator
The Waterdrop UL12B system includes an integrated indicator light on the filter unit:

- Red light flashing and beep: Indicates it is time to replace the filter.
If no light is visible or a steady green light is shown, the filter and battery are functioning correctly. Tap the indicator to save power.

The filter should be replaced every 12 months or after filtering 11,000 gallons, whichever comes first, or when the red indicator light flashes.
- Turn off the cold water supply to the filter system.
- Twist the old filter cartridge counter-clockwise to unlock and remove it.
- Insert the new filter cartridge and twist clockwise to lock it into place. No tools are required.
- Turn on the cold water supply and flush the new filter for 5-10 minutes as per initial flushing instructions.
