1. Okwu mmalite

The Pro-Ject VC-S3 is a premium record cleaning machine designed to effectively clean vinyl records, removing dirt, dust, and static charges. This manual provides essential information for the safe and efficient operation, setup, and maintenance of your device. Please read these instructions carefully before first use.

4. Nhazi

5. Ntuziaka ọrụ

  1. Ebe Ndekọ: Place a vinyl record onto the platter. Secure it with the magnetic record clamp.
  2. Apply Fluid: Apply a small amount of the pre-mixed cleaning fluid evenly across the record surface. Use the provided goat hair brush to gently spread the fluid and work it into the grooves.
  3. Malite moto: Flip the 'MOTOR' switch to the 'ON' position (usually indicated by 'I' or 'II' for different directions). Allow the record to rotate for a few revolutions to ensure the fluid is well distributed.
  4. Engage Vacuum: Position the vacuum arm over the record. Flip the 'VACUUM' switch to the 'ON' position (indicated by 'I'). The vacuum system will activate, drawing the cleaning fluid and impurities from the record surface.
  5. Dry Record: Allow the vacuum to operate for 1-2 revolutions in each direction (if applicable) until the record surface appears dry. The VC-S3 is designed for fast drying, typically within 2 rotations.
  6. Remove Record: Turn off the 'VACUUM' and 'MOTOR' switches. Carefully remove the record clamp and then the cleaned record.
  7. Tinyegharịa: Repeat the process for the other side of the record and for additional records.

6. Nlekọta

  • Emptying Waste Tank: The VC-S3 features a 2.5L internal waste fluid tank. Regularly check the fluid level and empty it when full. Refer to the diagram in the full manual for the waste tank drain plug location.
  • Cleaning Vacuum Arm: Periodically inspect the felt strips on the vacuum arm for wear or debris. Replace them if they become dirty or worn to ensure optimal suction and prevent scratching records.
  • Nchacha mpụta: Wipe the exterior of the machine with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents.

  • Record Not Drying Completely:
    • Ensure the vacuum arm is properly seated and making full contact with the record surface.
    • Check if the felt strips on the vacuum arm are clean and not overly saturated or worn. Replace if necessary.
    • Verify the waste fluid tank is not full.
    • Allow for an additional revolution or two under vacuum.

    • Check for blockages in the vacuum arm or tubing.
    • Ensure the vacuum arm is correctly installed and sealed.
    • Empty the waste fluid tank.
  • Wet Streak Under Vacuum Arm:
    • This can occur if the vacuum is turned off too quickly or if the felt strips are saturated. Allow the vacuum to run for a full rotation after the record appears dry.
    • Ensure felt strips are clean and in good condition.
  • Motor Not Rotating:
