Follow these steps to properly install the chain and guide bar:

- Reattach the side cover and turn the lock knob clockwise to tighten the guide bar and chain.
- Adjust the chain tension appropriately by turning the knob counter-clockwise until the chain is snug but can still be pulled freely around the bar. Once the SDS knob is fully tightened, it ensures optimal chain tension is maintained.

4.2. Filling the Oil Tank
The chainsaw features an automatic oiling system. Before each use, ensure the oil tank is filled with appropriate bar and chain oil.
- Locate the oil tank cap (yellow cap).
- Unscrew the cap and fill the tank with high-quality bar and chain oil.
- Monitor the transparent oil tank to check the oil level during operation.
- Securely replace the oil tank cap.
