Follow these steps to prepare your drone for flight.

3.1. Unpacking and Initial Assembly

  1. Place the carry case on a flat, stable surface and open it.
  2. Carefully remove the drone and accessory pack from the case.
  3. Place the drone on a flat platform.
  4. Install the Intelligent Battery: Align the battery slot with the pin connector inside the drone's compartment. Gently push until it clicks into place. Secure the battery by locking the four latches (numbered 1 to 4).
  5. Unfold Aircraft Arms: Unfold the front arms (marked with 'F') first, then unfold the rear arms (marked with 'R'). Rotate the rings in the direction of the arrow to tighten each arm securely.
  6. Remove Camera Protection: Carefully remove the protection foam from the camera gimbal.
  7. Attach Propellers: Place the orange-marked propellers on the orange-marked motors and rotate the mount counter-clockwise to tighten. Place the black propellers on the black motors and rotate the mount clockwise to tighten. Ensure all propellers are firmly attached.

3.2. Optional: Floating Bar Attachment

If flying close to water, attaching the floating bars is recommended for buoyancy.

  1. Remove the straps on each floating bar.
  2. Place each floating bar under the corresponding drone arm and lock the latches to secure them.

3.3. Remote Controller Mbido

  1. Ndozi antenna: Tilt down the antennas for better transmission if flying at a high altitude. Tilt up the antennas if flying close to the water surface.
  2. Nwụnye njide ekwentị: Install the phone holder onto the remote controller by turning the screw clockwise to secure it. This is necessary if you plan to use the companion app.
  3. Na-agbanye ike: Ensure all toggles on the remote controller are switched up. Short press the power button once, then long press for 2 seconds to power on the remote controller.

  1. Verify no damage to propellers.
  2. Ensure the battery is firmly locked.
  3. Confirm antennas are tightened.

  6. Verify the Micro SD card is inserted into the camera with the sealing flap closed.

4.3. Bait Release Operation

To deploy bait using the Dual Payload Release (DPL) system:

  1. Attach your bait to the DPL system securely.
  2. Fly the drone to the desired location.
  3. Once at the target, activate the payload release switch on your remote controller.

4.4. Laghachi n'ụlọ (RTH)

The Return to Home function allows the drone to automatically return to its takeoff point. Activate RTH using the designated button on your remote controller.

5.1. Post-Flight Cleaning

After each flight, especially in saltwater environments, it is crucial to clean your drone:

  • Ensure the battery compartment is sealed before rinsing.
  • Flush out each motor with fresh water to remove salt and sand.
