3.1 Mwepu na ntinye

Carefully remove all packaging materials. Place the coffee maker on a stable, flat, heat-resistant surface. Ensure adequate clearance around the unit for proper ventilation.

3.2 Water Reservoir Setup

The coffee maker features a removable 75oz water reservoir for easy filling. Lift the reservoir from its base, fill it with fresh, cold water, and place it back securely.

An internal water filter is included to ensure clean water for your brew. Install the filter into the designated housing within the water reservoir as per the instructions provided in the filter packaging.

3.3 Coffee Bean Hopper and Grinder

Open the lid of the coffee bean hopper located at the top of the unit. Fill with your preferred whole coffee beans. The integrated burr grinder offers 6 adjustable grind settings (Fine to Coarse) to suit your brewing preference.

3.4 Filter Basket Installation

The coffee maker comes with two reusable filters: one for carafe brewing and one for single-serve mug brewing. Ensure the correct filter is installed in the brew basket before operation.

To brew, select your desired volume (6-24 oz for mug, 4-10 cups for carafe), strength (Light to Gold), and temperature (185°F to 205°F). Press the 'Brew' button to start the process. The machine will automatically grind beans (if enabled) and brew.

4.3 WiFi Connectivity and SmartHQ App

This coffee maker is WiFi-enabled and works seamlessly with the SmartHQ mobile app. Download the app to remotely start and program brews, receive alerts, and customize coffee bloom time.

5.1 Cleaning the Carafe and Brew Basket

The 10-cup thermal carafe should be cleaned regularly with warm, soapy water. The brew basket and reusable filters are also easily removable for cleaning. Ensure all components are dry before reassembling.

The internal water filter should be replaced periodically to maintain optimal water quality and prevent mineral buildup. Refer to the filter's packaging for specific replacement intervals.
