4.1 Mounting the Main Unit
Choose between the clamp mount or adhesive mount based on your helmet's design and your preference.

- Clamp Ugwu: Gbanye clamp between the helmet shell and the inner padding. Secure it with the screws provided.
- Ugwu nrapado: Clean the desired mounting area on the helmet's left side. Peel off the protective film from the 3M VHB adhesive on the bracket and firmly press it onto the helmet for at least 30 seconds. Allow 24 hours for the adhesive to fully cure before use.
- Once the bracket is secured, slide the U-Com 7R main unit onto the bracket until it clicks into place.
4.2 Installing Speakers and Microphone
Proper placement of speakers and microphone is crucial for optimal audio quality.

- Locate the ear pockets inside your helmet. Attach the speakers using the provided Velcro pads, ensuring they are centered over your ears. Use spacers if needed for a snug fit.
- For full-face helmets, attach the wired microphone to the chin bar, positioning it directly in front of your mouth.
- For open-face or modular helmets, attach the boom microphone to the inside of the helmet near your mouth.
- Route all cables neatly under the helmet padding to avoid interference and ensure comfort. Connect the speaker and microphone cables to the main unit.

- Pairing Intercoms: Refer to the detailed pairing instructions in the full manual for multi-unit pairing. Generally, both units enter pairing mode, and one initiates the connection.
- Mmalite Intercom: Press the Intercom button once to initiate a conversation with a paired rider.
