It allows for multiple display outputs, high-speed data transfer, network connectivity, and power delivery through a single USB-C connection.   1. Connect the docking station to your laptop's USB-C port using the integrated USB-C cable. Ensure your laptop's USB-C port supports video output (DisplayPort Alternate Mode) and power delivery for full functionality.
  2. For power delivery to your laptop, connect your laptop's original power adapter or a compatible USB-C PD charger (up to 100W input, 87W output) to the PD 3.0 USB-C input port on the docking station.
  3. Connect your external monitors to the HDMI, DisplayPort, or VGA ports on the docking station.
  4. Connect any USB peripherals (keyboard, mouse, external drives) to the available USB-A or USB-C data ports.
  5. For wired internet access, connect an Ethernet cable to the RJ45 port.
  6. Insert SD or TF cards into the respective card reader slots as needed.
  7. Connect headphones or a microphone to the 3.5mm audio/microphone port.

The docking station supports various display configurations depending on your operating system and graphics card.

  • Extend Mode (Intel Graphics): For Windows laptops with Intel graphics, due to graphics limitations, you can achieve up to three extended displays (laptop screen + three external monitors). One of the four video output ports will display a black screen if all four are connected simultaneously.

Mac OS Operating System:

Mac OS does not support Multi-Stream Transport (MST) for extended displays. Therefore, you can achieve:

Utilize the USB 3.1 ports (up to 10Gbps) and USB 3.0 ports (up to 5Gbps) for high-speed data transfer with compatible devices. The USB 2.0 ports are suitable for keyboards, mice, and other low-bandwidth peripherals.

4.3 Power Delivery

The docking station supports up to 100W power input via its dedicated PD 3.0 USB-C port. It provides up to 87W power output to charge your connected laptop, ensuring sufficient power for operation and charging.
