The Femometer DET-306 thermometer requires 2 AAA batteries, which are included in the package. To install or replace batteries:

  1. Locate the battery compartment cover on the back of the thermometer.

Taking a Body Temperature (Forehead Mode)

Taking an Object Temperature (Object Mode)

The thermometer can also measure the temperature of objects, liquids, or rooms.

  1. Ụdị mgbanwe: After powering on, press the mode button (house icon 🏠) to switch from body mode to object mode. The house icon will appear on the display.
  2. Ndokwa: Aim the thermometer at the object or surface you wish to measure.
