Welcome to the iDance MUSIKA Deejay DJ Mixer. This device is designed to provide an interactive and creative audio experience with its integrated speaker, audio loops, disco LEDs, and touch-sensitive controls. This manual will guide you through the setup, operation, and maintenance of your new DJ mixer. Please read these instructions carefully before use and retain them for future reference.

  1. Locate the battery compartment on the underside of the MUSIKA Deejay unit.

2. Connecting Headphones (Optional)

  • To listen privately or monitor your mix, connect a standard 3.5mm headphone jack into the headphone output port, typically located on the side or back of the unit.

3. Connecting External Audio Source (Optional)

  • To mix external audio (e.g., from a smartphone or tablet), connect an audio cable (not included) from your external device's headphone output to the line input port on the MUSIKA Deejay.

  • Press the Power button (usually located near the volume controls) to turn the unit on. The Disco LEDs will illuminate.
  • Press the Power button again to turn the unit off.

3. Using the Beats Players

  • The MUSIKA Deejay features two independent Beats Players (A and B).
  • Each player has dedicated buttons for selecting different music genres (e.g., Electro, Hip Hop, Reggaeton for Player A; Dub Step, Funky, Disco for Player B).
  • Press a genre button to start playing the corresponding beat. Press again to stop.

4. Operating the Crossfader

  • The Crossfader allows you to blend audio seamlessly between Beats Player A and Beats Player B.
  • Slide the Crossfader lever towards 'A' to hear more of Beats Player A.
  • Slide the Crossfader lever towards 'B' to hear more of Beats Player B.
  • Position the Crossfader in the center to hear an equal mix of both players.

5. Using the Turntables

  • The two touch-sensitive turntables allow for interactive sound manipulation.
  • Touch and move your finger on the turntable surface to activate scratch effects or play integrated sounds.
  • Each turntable may have different sets of sounds or effects. Experiment to discover them.

6. Using Drum Pads and Sound FX Pads

  • Mpempe mkpọ nkụ: Press the 6 dedicated drum pads to trigger various drum sounds (e.g., Kick Drum, Snare Drum, Claps) and integrate them into your mix.
