Thank you for choosing the pTron Mount ST4F Adjustable Car Mount Phone Holder. This manual provides detailed instructions for the safe and effective use of your new car mount. Please read this manual thoroughly before installation and operation, and retain it for future reference.

  • Ensure the mount is securely installed before placing a device in it. A loose mount can obstruct your view or become a projectile in an accident.
  • Do not install the mount in a location that obstructs your driving view or interferes with airbags.
  • Avoid adjusting the mount or your device while driving. Always pull over to a safe location if adjustments are necessary.
  • Keep the mount away from extreme temperatures, direct sunlight for prolonged periods, and moisture to prevent damage to the product and your device.
  • This product is designed for holding smartphones and small tablets within the specified size range. Do not use it for other purposes.

4.2. Attaching the Suction Base

  1. Clean the chosen surface thoroughly to ensure optimal suction.

4.3. Attaching the Mobile Holder

  1. Loosen the collar nut on the ball joint of the telescopic arm.
  2. Align the mobile holder (clamp) with the ball joint and push it onto the ball until it is seated properly.
  3. Tighten the collar nut to secure the mobile holder in place. Do not overtighten.

5.1. Inserting Your Device

  1. Gently pull apart the two side arms of the mobile holder. The holder is designed to accommodate devices with a screen size range of 50mm-95mm (width).
  2. Place your smartphone or small tablet into the holder, ensuring it is centered and held securely by the cushion-based side arms.
  3. Release the side arms slowly to allow them to grip your device firmly. The cushion padding protects your device from scratches.

5.2. Na-edozi Viewing Angle and Position

  • Ntughari 360°: The mobile holder can be rotated 360 degrees to switch between portrait and landscape viewing modes. Loosen the collar nut slightly, adjust the angle, and then re-tighten.
  • Telescopic Arm: The telescopic arm can be extended by approximately 2 inches to bring your device closer for better viewing. Loosen the locking knob on the arm, extend or retract, and then re-tighten the knob.
  • Ndozi Tilt: The ball joint allows for tilting the device up, down, left, or right. Loosen the collar nut, adjust the tilt, and then re-tighten.

6.1. Cleaning the Suction Base

If the suction base loses its grip, it can often be restored to its prime condition:

  1. Carefully detach the mount from the surface.
  2. Rinse the suction cup with warm water.
  3. Allow it to air dry completely. Do not use cloths or paper towels, as they can leave lint.
  4. Once dry, the suction power should be restored.
