  12. After serving, return the carafe to the keep warm plate to keep the remaining coffee warm.
  13. When you are finished, press the power switch to turn off the coffee maker and unplug it from the outlet.

  1. Mix 2-4 tablespoons of white vinegar with water to fill the reservoir to the MAX line.
  2. Place the empty reusable filter in the filter basket and the empty carafe on the keep warm plate.
  3. Turn on the coffee maker and let it brew the vinegar solution through the cycle.
  4. After the cycle, turn off the coffee maker, discard the solution, and rinse the carafe and filter.
  5. Run 2-3 cycles with clean water only to flush out any remaining vinegar taste.
