Follow these steps to set up your sewing machine:

  1. Iwepu: Carefully remove the sewing machine and all accessories from the packaging. Retain the packaging for future storage or transport.

  3. Mmata: Identify the main components: needle bar, presser foot, bobbin winder, stitch regulator, and handwheel.

  4. Start Sewing: Slowly turn the handwheel towards you to lower the needle into the fabric. Continue turning the handwheel or use the foot pedal (if applicable) to begin sewing. Guide the fabric gently.
  5. Ịkwanye Azụ: To secure the beginning and end of a seam, push the stitch regulator lever to the reverse position and sew a few stitches, then return it to the forward position.
  6. Finishing a Seam: When you reach the end of your seam, sew a few reverse stitches to secure it. Raise the needle to its highest position, then raise the presser foot. Pull the fabric away from the machine.
  7. Cut Thread: Use the in-built thread cutter or a pair of scissors to cut the threads, leaving approximately 4-6 inches of thread tails.
