Follow these steps to replace the battery in your Dyson V7 series vacuum cleaner:

  1. Remove the dust bin from the vacuum cleaner by pulling up the top part to open it.
  2. Using the provided screwdriver, remove the two screws located on the bottom of the main vacuum unit.
  3. Remove the single screw from the handle section of the vacuum cleaner using the screwdriver.
  4. Carefully detach the old battery.
  5. Install the new FLYLINKTECH replacement battery by reversing the removal steps. Ensure all screws are securely fastened.

  • Before first use, fully charge the new battery.
  • After the battery is depleted during use, do not charge it immediately. Allow approximately 10-20 minutes for the battery to cool down before initiating charging, especially if used in Max mode.

  • During charging: The blue indicator light will be on.
  • When fully charged: The blue indicator light will turn off.

  • Wash the filters with cold water at least once a month.
  • Ensure the filters are completely dry before reattaching them to the vacuum cleaner.

  • When storing the battery for an extended period, ensure it is fully charged. Recharge it before reuse.
  • Avoid leaving the battery completely drained or in a low-charge state for prolonged periods. For long-term storage, it is recommended to remove the battery from the vacuum cleaner and store it with a partial charge (not full) in a cool, dry place, away from extreme temperatures.
  • Prevent metal objects from entering the battery box during storage, as this can cause leakage, heat, smoke, fire, or explosion.

  • Do not disassemble, modify, or subject the battery to impact.
  • Avoid over-discharging the battery (leaving it at 0% charge).

  • If the battery indicator light shows yellow or red, it indicates a temporary error.
