This manual provides detailed instructions for setting up, operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting your ASUS RT-AC58U V3 AC1300 Dual-Band Gigabit Router. This device is designed to provide a powerful and flexible whole-home Wi-Fi network, suitable for both standalone use and mesh network setups, combining speed with extensive connectivity options.

5.2 Dual-Band Functionality
The RT-AC58U V3 operates on two frequency bands: 2.4GHz and 5GHz.
- 2.4GHz band: Offers wider coverage and better penetration through walls, suitable for general internet browsing and devices further away from the router.
- 5GHz band: Provides faster speeds and lower latency, ideal for bandwidth-intensive activities like online gaming and 4K video streaming, but has a shorter range and is more susceptible to obstacles.
You can configure separate SSIDs for each band or use a single SSID with Smart Connect for automatic band steering.
5.3 Netwọk ndị ọbịa
The router supports creating separate guest networks. This allows visitors to access the internet without gaining access to your main network resources, enhancing security. Configure guest networks via the router's web interface.

Regularly updating your router's firmware is crucial for security, stability, and performance. Access the router's web interface, navigate to the 'Administration' section, and check for firmware updates. It is recommended to use the automatic update feature if available.
