  • Ndakọrịta Motherboard: Ensure your motherboard has an AM4 socket and supports the Ryzen 3000 series processors. Refer to your motherboard manufacturer's website for a CPU support list.
  • Mmelite BIOS: It is highly recommended to update your motherboard's BIOS to the latest version before installing the processor. This ensures full compatibility and optimal performance.
  • Tapawa okpomọkụ: The Wraith Prism cooler comes with pre-applied thermal paste. If you are using a different cooler or reapplying, ensure you have high-quality thermal paste.
  • Ngwa: You may need a Phillips head screwdriver.

Nwụnye processor

  1. Carefully open the CPU socket retention arm on your motherboard.
  2. Align the gold triangle on the corner of the Ryzen processor with the triangle on the CPU socket.
  3. Gently lower the processor straight down into the socket. Do not force it. If it does not seat easily, re-check alignment.
  4. Once seated, close the CPU socket retention arm to secure the processor.

Cooler Installation (Wraith Prism LED Cooler)

  1. Ensure the motherboard's plastic retention brackets around the CPU socket are in place.
  2. Position the Wraith Prism cooler over the CPU, aligning the cooler's clips with the retention brackets.
  3. Attach one side of the cooler's clip to the corresponding retention bracket.
  4. Apply firm, even pressure to the other side of the cooler and attach the second clip to the remaining retention bracket. You may need to use the lever on the cooler to secure it.
  5. Connect the 4-pin CPU fan cable from the cooler to the "CPU_FAN" header on your motherboard.
  6. For LED control, connect the USB cable from the cooler to an available USB 2.0 header on your motherboard, and/or the RGB cable to a compatible RGB header on your motherboard.

Na-arụ ọrụ

Once installed, the AMD Ryzen 9 3900X processor operates automatically within your system. Its performance is managed by the motherboard's BIOS/UEFI settings and the operating system.
