This manual provides instructions for the VOFONO Keyless Entry Remote Replacement Key Fob. This product is designed to replace your original key fob for compatible vehicles, offering remote lock, unlock, and panic functions. It requires professional key cutting and specific programming steps to function correctly with your vehicle.

  • This key fob is compatible with Toyota Rav4 models from 2006-2010 and Scion XB models from 2008-2013.
  • It is a replacement remote key for vehicles using a "4D67" chip.
  • Ihe dị mkpa: If your original Toyota Rav4 key fob has a letter "G" stamped on the key blade, this replacement key fob will not work.
  • This transmitter is designed for vehicles with a regular key ignition and does not support push-start button vehicles.

2.2. Key Cutting

The physical key blade of this replacement fob is uncut. For proper vehicle operation, the key blade must be cut by a qualified automotive locksmith or a Toyota dealership. Ensure the locksmith is experienced with transponder keys.

2.3. Remote Programming Instructions

The remote functions (lock, unlock, panic) of the key fob require programming to your vehicle. Follow these steps carefully:

  1. Ensure the key is out of the ignition.
  2. The driver's door must be open, all other doors closed, and the driver's door unlocked.
  3. Have all key fobs you wish to program nearby.
  4. Insert the key into the ignition (do NOT turn it), then pull the key out. Repeat this sequence: IN, OUT, IN, OUT.
  5. Close the driver's door, then open it. Repeat this sequence: CLOSE, OPEN, CLOSE, OPEN.
  6. Insert the key into the ignition, then pull it out: IN, OUT.
  7. Close the driver's door, then open it. Repeat this sequence, ending with the door closed: CLOSE, OPEN, CLOSE, OPEN, CLOSE!
  8. Insert the key into the ignition: IN!
  9. Turn the key to the ON position (do not start the engine), then immediately back to OFF.
  10. Pull the key OUT! The door locks will cycle (lock and unlock) to acknowledge that the vehicle is in programming mode.
  11. N'ime sekọnd 40: Press the LOCK and UNLOCK buttons on the remote simultaneously for 1.5 seconds.
  12. Immediately after releasing the LOCK and UNLOCK buttons, press the LOCK button by itself and hold for 2 seconds.
  13. Within 3 seconds, the door locks should cycle once (lock and then unlock) indicating successful programming. If the door locks cycle twice, repeat steps 11 and 12 as the remote was not accepted.
  14. Repeat steps 11 and 12 for each additional new remote you wish to program.
  15. To exit programming mode, open the driver's door.

Once programmed and the key blade is cut, your VOFONO key fob will provide the following functions:

4. Nlekọta

This typically requires specialized equipment available at an automotive locksmith or dealership. A simple key cut will not enable the car to start if the chip is not programmed.
