    Place a trash bag into each inner compartment. Secure the bag by folding the top edge over the inner ring and then placing the inner ring back into the compartment to hold the bag in place.

5.1 Automatic Sensor Operation

The Homra Qubix bin features an infrared motion sensor for hands-free operation.

  • To open the lid, simply wave your hand or an object within 15-20 cm above the sensor located on the front of the lid.
  • The lid will open automatically and remain open for approximately 5 seconds.
  • After 5 seconds of no motion detection, the lid will close silently due to the soft-close mechanism.
  • If motion is detected again during the closing cycle, the lid will reopen.

5.2 Manual Operation (OPEN/CLOSE Buttons)

For extended opening or manual control, use the buttons on the lid:
