  1. Connect the red test lead to the 'VΩmA' jack and the black test lead to the 'COM' jack.

  3. Open the circuit where current is to be measured and connect the multimeter in series.

  4. Insert the transistor leads into the corresponding holes on the hFE adapter.
  5. Read the hFE (DC current gain) value on the display.
