The JJC TM-R is a versatile wired multi-function LCD timer remote control designed for select Fujifilm cameras. It provides precise control over various camera functions, including self-timer, interval shooting, long exposure (bulb mode), and continuous shooting. This manual will guide you through the setup, operation, and maintenance of your TM-R remote control.

  • Ihuenyo LCD: Displays settings for delay, exposure time, interval, and number of shots.

  • Bọtịnụ jide: Functions as a two-step shutter release button. Press halfway to focus, fully to trigger the shutter. Can also lock the shutter open in Bulb mode.

  • Directional Pad (Up/Down/Left/Right/Set): Used to navigate menus and adjust time values.
  • Mgbanwe ọkụ (Gbanye/ Gbanyụọ): Located on the side of the unit.
  • Speaker Icon: Indicates sound notification status.
  • DE (Delay): Setting for self-timer.
  • BU (Bulb): Setting for long exposure.
  • INT (Oge oge): Setting for interval shooting.
  • N (Number): Setting for the number of shots.

2. Connecting to Your Camera

Ntuziaka ọrụ

The JJC TM-R offers several shooting modes. Use the directional pad to navigate between settings (DE, BU, INT, N) and adjust values. Press the 'Set' button (center of directional pad) to confirm selections.

Basic Shutter Release

  • Pịa Jide button fully to trigger the shutter.

Self-Timer (DE - Delay)

This mode allows you to set a delay before the shutter is released.

  2. Use the directional pad to select the DE (Delay) setting.
  3. Adjust the desired delay time (from 0s to 99h 59min 59s) using the Up/Down buttons.

Long Exposure (BU - Bulb)

For exposures longer than your camera's maximum shutter speed.

  1. Set your camera to Bulb mode.

  3. Adjust the desired exposure duration (from 0s to 99h 59min 59s).

Interval Shooting (INT - Interval)

Capture a series of images at regular intervals, ideal for time-lapse photography.

  2. Set the desired interval time (e.g., one exposure every 20s). This is the time between the start of one exposure and the start of the next.
  3. Also set the N (Number) of shots you wish to take. Set to '---' for unlimited shots.

Combined Modes

The TM-R allows you to combine settings for complex sequences:

  • Delay + Interval + Number: Set a delay before the interval sequence begins, then take a specified number of shots at set intervals.
  • Delay + Bulb + Interval + Number: Set a delay, then take a specified number of long exposures at set intervals.

Always ensure your camera's settings (e.g., exposure mode, focus) are appropriate for the remote control's programmed sequence.
