- Be aware that certain foods, such as applesauce, cranberries, pearl barley, oatmeal or other cereals, split peas, noodles, macaroni, rhubarb, or spaghetti can foam, froth, and sputter, and clog the pressure release device. These foods should not be cooked in a pressure cooker.

- Iwepu: Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Retain packaging for storage or transport if needed.
- Nhicha izizi: Before first use, wash all parts (pots and lid) with warm soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely. Ensure the lid's removable handle is detached for proper cleaning (see Maintenance section).
- Ejikwa Mgbakwunye: The pressure cooker lid handle is designed for precise attachment. Align the handle with the designated slot on the lid and slide it into place until it clicks securely. Ensure it is firmly attached before use.

- Kwadebe Ngwakọta: Place your ingredients and the required amount of liquid into either the 6.5-quart or 3-quart pot. Do not exceed the maximum fill lines (2/3 full for most foods, 1/2 full for expanding foods).
- Chekwaa mkpuchi: Place the pressure cooker lid onto the pot. Ensure the lid is correctly aligned and then slide the handle to the locked position. A click or visual indicator will confirm the lid is securely sealed.
- Ngwa ikpo ọkụ: Place the pot on a suitable cooktop (gas, electric, ceramic, or induction). Set the heat to high.
- Pressure Buildup: As pressure builds, a mechanical plug on the lid handle will rise, indicating the pressure level with visible rings. Refer to your recipe for the appropriate pressure level (number of rings) for your dish.
- Maintain Pressure: Once the desired pressure level is reached, reduce the heat to maintain that level. Avoid excessive heat, which can cause the safety alarm to sound.
- Oge isi nri: Cook for the time specified in your recipe.
