The PT-65 labeler requires six AA batteries for operation. To install the batteries:

  1. Locate the battery compartment on the underside of the labeler.

2. Tape Cartridge Installation

  3. Insert the M tape cartridge firmly into the compartment, ensuring it clicks into place. The tape should feed smoothly into the printing mechanism.

2. Typing Text

Use the QWERTY keyboard to type the desired text for your label. The text will appear on the LCD screen. The labeler supports up to two lines of text.

3. Customizing Labels

The PT-65 offers various customization options:

  • Font Styles and Sizes: Use the dedicated buttons or menu options to select from nine type styles and five type sizes.
  • Akara: Access 83 built-in symbols to add to your labels.
  • Framing and Underlining: Apply text framing or underlining features as needed.
  • Multiple Copies: Print up to nine copies of the same label.

After typing and customizing your label:

  1. Review the text on the LCD screen to ensure accuracy.
  2. Pịa Bipụta button. The labeler will print the label and automatically cut it.
  3. Gently pull the printed label from the labeler's output slot.

5. Peeling and Applying Labels

To apply the label:

  1. Carefully peel the backing from the adhesive side of the label.
  2. Apply the label to a clean, dry surface.

1. Replacing Tape Cartridges

When the tape in the cartridge runs out or you wish to change tape types, follow the tape cartridge installation steps outlined in the Setup section.

2. Cleaning the Labeler
